y recommend for every Christian. It will help you understand the art and science of biblical interpretation, or what’s officially called “hermeneutics.” I just finished another course in this subject, and this was one of the required texts. I’d already read it for another course, but I re-read it for this one, and it was well worth my time. So many of the errors of today’s Christian Church would be avoided if only God’s people understood the principles of right biblical interpretation. This book will really help you in that respect. It’s written by two professors; one teaches Old Testament and the other New Testament, but they write in an easily understood style directed toward the general public, not just scholars. I really urge you to get this book. It’ll bless your life and help you understand God’s Word.
