Nowadays we have learned so many things. Science and technology have made so many amazing advances. And yet, at the same time, I find modern people believe in just as many, if not more, “fairy tales” as ancient or medieval people. Consider the following:
We’ve been told for decades there are about 11 million illegal aliens in our country. But a recent Yale/MIT study said the real number is probably 16-30 million. Reminds me of the population signs as you enter El Paso. For decades they remained at 500,000, even as I saw the city spread out so far it took me 30 more minutes to drive across it. The city had grown and grown, yet the population remained the same?!
We’ve been told 97% of scientists agree that the climate is changing drastically and that change is caused by humanity’s influence. That 97% figure is completely bogus, and that has been proved over and over. Nobody even knows how many scientists there are, or who these were who formed the supposed 97%. There’s no consensus at all on these matters. Yet everybody’s sure this is true. Sounds like a fairy tale to me.
We were told George Floyd was murdered by a racist white police officer. But 20 minutes of the officers’ body cams reveals that Floyd was dying long before the officer put a knee to his neck, a procedure, by the way, which is taught at the police academy there. Floyd had 3 times the lethal limit of fentanyl in his system, plus methamphetamine. We were told he was an innocent black man, but it turns out he has a rap sheet that’s quite long, had been in prison, had even once done a home invasion and put a pistol to the belly of a pregnant (black) woman. But the fairy tale of systemic racism is still being told.
A recent survey showed that liberals who were surveyed, especially young ones, said that around 1,000 black men are shot down by white police per year. But the real number is from 10-19 in a year! Yet millions believe the 1,000 figure. It’s a fairy tale.
Millions believe Michael Brown was on his knees before a police officer with his hands up, pleading with the officer not to shoot. The truth of the matter, verified even by a personal friend of Michael Brown, is that he attacked the officer not once but twice and tried to take his weapon, and the officer shot him as he was fighting for his life. Yet millions continue to say hands up, don’t shoot, there are tee shirts, it’s chanted at riots, etc.
We were told that on Jan. 6th, an “armed insurrection” occurred at the US Capitol, motivate by a speech from president Trump. But the truth is, nobody there was armed but the police, the only person shot was a civilian who wasn’t fighting anyone or endangering anyone. We were told these “insurrectionists” were white supremacists, yet nobody has identified any white supremacists at the scene, and the truth is, very few are found anywhere in the country. And the FBI and police have admitted they had advance information on the possibility of this “insurrection” before the president ever spoke at all, so how could his speech have caused it?
We’re told that the threat of these insurrections from white supremacists continues to be so great that we need thousands of National Guard troops to guard Washington, D.C., and we need fences and barbed wire for protection. Yet as cities all across America burned, no troops were needed, these were mostly peaceful demonstrations! A fairy tale, but one people continue to believe.
We’ve been told that scientists have produced the basic building blocks of life in laboratories and this is fairly easy to do. Yet a great series on Abiogenesis by Dr. James Tour shows this is completely bogus, a fairy tale. If you watch his series, posted here, you will see what I mean. If anyone knows anything to refute him, please let me know. I’m not a chemist, but I believe this man, who is.
We were told the covid virus came from a wet market in China, but later, we found out it more likely came from a lab in Wuhan, which our government has helped to fund, because it develops projects our military is not allowed to work on in America. We were told wearing masks was essential to flatten the curve, but studies have shown this is absolutely bogus. We were told we had to lock down the whole country to save lives, but again, this turned out to be bogus. Another fairy tale people still believe.
It seems many people believe president Trump’s border policy was inhumane, but president Biden’s isn’t. Yet there are more people in danger on both sides of the border under Biden than there were under Trump. We’re told Biden sent a group to the border to try and determine what needs to be done. Yet under the former president, these invasions were stopped and Border Patrol says conditions were much safer for all. Biden doesn’t need to find out what needs to be done. He already knows, but doesn’t want to close our borders. Saying he does is a fairy tale.
Many believe border walls are not effective, yet our government sent millions to foreign countries so they could build them. We’re told our immigration system is broken and government officials are seeking to fix it, yet it never gets fixed as decades roll by. I am convinced that what they tell us about wanting to fix the problem is a fairy tale. They have no intention of “fixing” this problem. Somebody is paying for it to continue. They want our demographics to change. They want us to be invaded by millions of people from all over the world. It serves their purposes somehow. But saying it serves America is false, another fairy tale.
Yes, it seems that in spite of all our advances, people believe more fairy tales now than ever before. I can’t really understand or explain it, can you?
