We Americans hear the name Jesus Christ all the time. Some people actually think Christ is Jesus' last name! It's actually the English translation of the Greek word Christos, which in turn is their translation for the Hebrew mashiach, a word we translate as Messiah. Knowing about the Messiah, who He is, what He's like, how we can receive the benefit of what He came to do, that's the most important lesson anyone could ever come to understand in life!
