I’m not a chemist, but James Tour is. Just the other day, I was talking with a neighbor who said, “Oh yeah, scientists have created life in test tubes. It all could’ve happened by chance in some warm pond, millions of years ago.” I referred him to this series. I know it gets complicated and deep right away, but even I, a guy who did poorly in high-school chemistry, could understand the gist. This series won’t be for everyone. If it’s too much for you, just skim, or watch his presentation at a church for the Discovery Institute. You can find that online too. But I’m posting the first of this series, in the hope that some will be able to handle it. I also have a series of books on this by A. E. Wilder-Smith, a man, now deceased, who had three PH.D.s in biochemistry, and who wrote things that Tour is saying decades ago.
