In this video, we'll look at what Jay Richards calls "The Usury Myth," the idea that working with money is inherently evil and immoral and that charging interest exploits people and is a sin.
Here's the next in the series as we look at this great book by Dr. Jay Richards. I'll post the notes separately, in case you want to read along or get some of the quotes.
I have to share some of the thoughts Dr. Jay Richards has presented in this great book! This video looks at Chapter 4 and what Richards calls, "The Materialist Myth" (believing that wealth isn’t created; it’s simply transferred.) I hope you'll watch, and share your thoughts in the comments section below.
I'm continuing through Dr. Jay Richard's book, because I believe it has a very important message for us in these days when so many undermine or don't even understand principles that make us great.
This is a continuation of the study I started last week, of this great book by Dr. Jay Richards called Money, Greed, and God, Why Capitalism is the Solution, and not the problem. Chapter Two brings up the second myth people believe about capitalism, "The Piety Myth."
I'm always reading, and I always like to recommend good books I find. I liked Dr. Jay Richard's book so much that I decided to do a review of it and go through all eight chapters, one a week for the next several weeks. I hope you'll check out the YouTube clip. I also made an audio recording, and once I figure out how to post that, it'll be available too.
